Pollyanna McIntosh has established herself as an impressive personality in the horror and thriller scene. She is best known for her intense portrayal of Jadis/Anne in AMC’s cult series The Walking Dead and its spin-offs The Walking Dead: World Beyond and The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. Her interpretation of this multi-layered character earned her international recognition and a loyal fan base.
However, the Scottish-born actress’ breakthrough came with the controversial horror film The Woman (2011) by Lucky McKee, in which she played the wild survivor of the title. The role cemented her reputation as a fearless actress who doesn’t shy away from extreme and challenging characters. She returned to the role in Darlin’ (2019), which she also directed, demonstrating her prowess in front of and behind the camera.
The actress also excelled in films like Let Us Prey (2014) and Tales of Halloween (2015). Whether on screen or behind the camera, Pollyanna McIntosh is a true icon of horror. At FearCon 2, you will have the great opportunity to meet the charismatic actress in person!
