1. Contract
1.1. The ordering process by the customer is merely an offer to conclude a contractual relationship. The contractual relationship with FEDCON GmbH shall only be established when the organiser sends a confirmation of registration.
1.2 Admission tickets (tickets) are personalised to the customer. Cancellation or return of the ticket is not possible. The participant shall be entitled to transfer his ticket to a third party; the transfer shall only be effective if it has been made by the organiser. A transfer fee of Euro 25,- is due for each transfer. If the purchaser has purchased other packages in addition to the ticket, such as hotel rooms and/or meal packages and/or autograph vouchers, the transfer is only possible if all purchased packages are transferred to the same person.
1.3. A room partner for hotel rooms will be assigned by the organiser if both persons have booked the same time and number of days in the hotel. If one person should book an additional (different) overnight stay time, a single room surcharge is due for this additional time. Cancellation of the booked hotel rooms via FEDCON GmbH is possible free of charge until 16 weeks before the convention. Cancellations between the sixteenth week and the eighth week before the event will incur a cancellation fee of 50 euros per person. For cancellations between the eighth and the last week before the event, 90% of the gross amount is due. Cancellations within the week of the event are no longer possible, so 100% of the gross amount is due. Changes and cancellations must be made exclusively and in writing to FEDCON GmbH.
2. Event
2.1. The organizer reserves the right to make changes in the course of the event. Program sequences that are announced in advance of the event are not binding. The organizer can change the program sequence at any time, even at short notice, without this giving rise to any claims for the visitor.
2.2. The organizer does not guarantee for the appearance of a certain guest star. The contracts with announced actors can be cancelled by the actor at any time without the organizer having any influence on this. In the case of absence of an announced guest star, the organizer provides for replacement if possible, an obligation of the organizer for this does not exist.
2.3. Some events as well as lectures of guest stars take place in English language. The organizer is not obliged to provide German translations for these lectures.
2.4. The visitor agrees that he can be filmed and photographed during the event and that these recordings can be used on public television as well as in the context of privately produced films or print and online reports.
2.5. If the organizer is forced to clear the event or parts of it temporarily or permanently, to postpone, shorten or extend the event due to force majeure or other reasons beyond his control, no rights, in particular no claims for damages against the organizer can be derived from this.
3. Security
3.1. The instructions of the security staff must always be followed. The security staff is entitled to check bags during the event.
3.2. It is prohibited to bring weapons, pyrotechnic or other dangerous objects. This also includes items that are part of a costume. Parts of a costume that are likely to injure other persons must be shown to the security personnel upon entry.
3.3. Advertising of any kind at the event is only allowed with the written permission of the organizer.
4. Liability
4.1. The organizer is liable for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, body or health.
In case of violation of essential contractual obligations (so-called cardinal obligations), which are only based on simple negligence, the liability of the organizer is limited to the compensation of the foreseeable, contract-typical damage.
Except in the aforementioned cases, the organizer is not liable for damages caused by simple negligence.
Insofar as the liability of the Organiser is excluded or limited in accordance with the above paragraphs, this shall also apply to the liability of his vicarious agents and assistants.
4.2. The organizer does not reimburse for lost vouchers.
5. Audio-Visual recordings
5.1. Audio-visual recordings within the meaning of these General Terms and Conditions are sound and image recordings made during the event which are based on suitable
5.2. Das Anfertigen audiovisueller Aufzeichnungen in den Vortragsräumen der Veranstaltung ist grundsätzlich verboten. Bei Verstoß gegen dieses Verbot erfolgt der Verweis von der Veranstaltung. Der Veranstalter behält sich die Geltendmachung von Schadensersatzansprüchen vor.
5.3. Die Verwendung audiovisueller Aufzeichnungen zu gewerblichen oder kommerziellen Zwecken ist nur mit vorheriger schriftlicher Genehmigung des Veranstalters zulässig.
6. Sonstiges
The invalidity of individual provisions shall not affect the validity of the entire General Terms and Conditions. Invalid provisions shall be deemed replaced by valid provisions that come closest in economic terms to the respective invalid provision.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply exclusively.
